COLORADO SPRINGS — Ten days after announcing the delay of Fall sports to September, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Presidents' Council postponed conference schedules and championships for fall sports (Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Volleyball) to the spring semester, except for cross country, which shall compete as originally scheduled.

"I think the number one concern that I am worried about is making sure that we have the safety and guidelines for our players," said CSU Pueblo head football coach John Wristen. "And whatever that looks like we are going to develop practice plan, we are going to develop workouts and develop all the things necessary for them to go compete for a championship."

Additionally, the Council agreed that men's and women's golf could continue its non-championship segment competition this fall.

The decision was made after the NCAA Division II president council canceled all Fall Sports Championship on Wednesday.

Practice opportunities will be available in the fall semester for fall sport student-athletes per Division II rules and at the discretion of each RMAC member institution.

According to Wristen, the spring will also not be a full schedule and most likely will be closer to only five games.

The RMAC will still have to decide how the sports schedules will look in the Spring, as well as how it effect scholarship money & eligibility.
