DENVER — According to multiple reports on Friday, Denver Nuggets star forward Michael Porter Jr. will miss multiple games because of the NBA's health and safety protocols related to COVID-19.
Porter Jr. was listed as out for Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns on the NBA's official injury report and will most likely miss games against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday and on Tuesday and then again on the following Thursday when Denver hosts the Dallas Mavericks.
Porter, 22, is the Nuggets' second-leading scorer and rebounder through their first four games this season, averaging 19.5 points and 6.8 rebounds.
Porter's contract tracing began on Thursday, as there is not timetable for his return.
