SOUTHERN COLORADO — Conference standings were on the line Tuesday night for Pikes Peak Athletic Conference with 4 tops teams facing off.

In Monument, Lewis-Palmer welcomed a red-hot Liberty Lancers team to their home gym.

The Rangers (5-1) though, were no match for the Lancers, rolling past them 75 to 58.

L-P's tough week continues on Wednesday in a big rivalry match-up against Palmer Ridge, while Liberty (5-3) will travel to Fountain to take on the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans on Thursday.

Speaking of the Trojans. F-C-C hosted the Doherty Spartans on Tuesday as well.

Their game in Fountain went into double overtime with the Trojans (7-1) barely pulling off the 73 to 72 win, to sweep Doherty on the season.

The Spartans (7-2) will now host Pine Creek on Thursday.

After Tuesday's action, Rampart takes over first place in the PPAC, with Fountain-Fort Carson is right behind them in 2nd place.
