PUEBLO — First the first time in nearly 4 months, the Pueblo South football team will be back together.
Well, at least some of them.
Starting on Monday, the Colts and the rest of the D60 schools can begin summer workouts with COVID-19 restrictions.
Teams will have to take temperature checks, clean equipment and hold workouts with social distancing.
For Pueblo South head coach Ryan Goddard, he is just excited to see his team again.
"I think this is one of those things we have taken for granted," explained Goddard. "We kind of feel like 'oh its summer workouts' and those types of things. But I think we understand now its a get to, rather than a have to."
Goddard also hopes to get a better idea of what the 2021 Colts will look like next year.
