In a battle of unbeaten boys hockey teams in Southern Colorado, Pine Creek and Doherty played to a 3-3 overtime tie Wednesday night at the Sertich Ice Center.
The Eagles jumped out to a 3-0 lead, scoring goals in the first and another in the second to build a large advantage.
However, the Spartans answered with three tallies in the third period to force overtime, where both teams were held off the scoreboard.
Doherty's record now stands at 10-0-1, with Pine Creek at 8-0-2.
