"I feel like it was always my dream to play football in college but this is awesome to be able to stay in state never would have imagined it," Jones said.
Having won three state titles for the Bears program, the 6'3 standout continued to improve each year up in Monument.
In his final campaign, Jones hauled in six receiving touchdowns, while adding five sacks and seven tackles for a loss at both end positions.
At Colorado State, the future Ram will likely focus on offense alongside fellow teammate and quarterback, Luke McAllister.
"I just liked the community up there, the coaches showed a lot of love to me," Jones said. "It was nice to feel like someone wanted me at their program. It was nice to have that and be able to go up there with some of the guys I work out with, and some of the guys that I know."
In a COVID-19 shortened season up in Fort Collins, CSU went 1-3 under first-year head coach Steve Addazio.
