DENVER — In the midst of the protests this week, the NBA announced the restart to their NBA season that will take place in the happiest place on earth: Disney World.

For the Denver Nuggets, they were on the down slop when COVID-19 shutdown the season, but feel good heading into the new shorten season.

This week, guard Jamal Murray was very frank with the media on the Nuggets chances of cutting down the net this year.

"Why not?," asked Murray to reporters. "Why not? We have proven to be one of the best teams year in and year out since we started building. We have beaten good teams consistently. We do not think there is a team that can beat us in a 7-game series when we are playing out our best. And for us, it is to playing your best all the time. If we can just find that consistency and play at a high level - when me and Joker are on - I do not think there is anyone going to stop us for real."

The NBA plans to restart the season on July 31st with the NBA finals taking place in October.
