COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — The Doherty High girls varsity basketball team defeated Discovery Canyon 59-25 at home Friday to remain unbeaten (6-0) in the 5A/4A Pikes Peak League. The 7-1 Spartans' only loss came during a non-conference game against Regis Jesuit at the start of the season.
They'll host Fountain-Fort Carson on Tuesday, February 23.
Meanwhile, the 1-7 Thunder are still looking for their first win in league play. They will visit Rampart High School on Tuesday.
