COLORADO SPRINGS — Denver scored all five of its goals in the second period Thursday night and the Pioneers defeated Colorado College, 5-1, at the Broadmoor World Arena.
Magnus Chrona picked up the win in net & finished with 24 saves and added an assist as the Pioneers improved to 8-12-1.
Neither team connected on the power play and Denver held a 28-25 shot advantage.
The two teams will play on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Magness Arena, beginning at 7 p.m.
