COLORADO SPRINGS — On Saturday, Vista Ridge senior athlete Ahmir Braxton announced on Twitter his commitment to Division I Dartmouth University.
Braxton will join Fountain-Fort Carson running back Q Jones in the Ivy League.

"First I would like to thank my mom, Aunt Diamond and the rest of my family for the support and time they have invested into me to become the person and athlete that I am today," said Braxton in his commitment video. "I would like to thank all my coaches that pushed me to become the best student-athlete that I can be."
The projected college defensive-back also had an offer from San Diego University.
