Several of the areas top boys and girls basketball teams looked the part Tuesday night across Southern Colorado, especially in Class 3A.
Jumping out to a 24-15 first quarter lead, The Vanguard School cruised to a 69-50 win against the Atlas Prepatory School in boys hoops action. University of Colorado commit Dominique Clifford starred in the win for the No. 5 Coursers.
On the girls side, No.1-ranked St. Mary's dominated Bishop Machebeuf 92-24. The Lady Pirates led 54-13 at the break and rolled to a 3-0 start to their season.
