DENVER – According to multiple media reports, the Broncos have reached an agreement to acquire Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

It’s unknown at this time what the Broncos offered in return to acquire the 11-year veteran quarterback.  NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports it’s a “mid-round pick.” It’s also unknown if the Broncos would have to pay Flacco’s $18.5 million base salary. The trade cannot be finalized until the new NFL league year begins on March 13.

Flacco was on the SuperBowl XLVII winning team at the end of the 2012 season.

The Ravens replaced Flacco with rookie Lamar Jackson midway through the 2018-19 season after he led the Ravens to a 4-5 record. In those nine starts, Flacco passed for 2,365 yards with 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in those nine starts.

Jackson helped the Ravens turn their season around, going 6-2 as a starter including their playoff loss in the divisional round to the Chargers.
