DENVER – It appears the AFC West is losing another Pro Bowl wide receiver and the state of Texas is gaining another.
A week after the Raiders traded away Amari Cooper to Dallas Cowboys, the Broncos have traded four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to the Houston Texans.
The Broncos will reportedly receive a mid-round pick for Thomas.
The Broncos will send a seventh-round pick along with Thomas to the Texans in exchange for a fourth-round pick and a seventh-round pick.
The Raiders got a first-round pick for Cooper.
The interesting thing is that the Broncos and Texans play each other this Sunday in Denver.
Thomas, a former first-round pick in 2010, is having a productive year. He’s caught 36 passes for 402 yards and three touchdowns.
