DENVER – The Denver Broncos released their first depth chart ahead of Saturday’s first preseason game against the Vikings at Mile High Stadium.

One of the most interesting position battles is the battle between 2018 first round pick Bradley Chubb and 2016 first round pick Shane Ray. Chubb is listed as the first string strong side linebacker ahead of Ray, who is the second string.

At the quarterback position, Case Keenum is the unquestioned starter, Paxton Lynch is the backup with former Ole Miss star Chad Kelly as the third string.

At tailback, Davontae Booker will have the chance to replace CJ Anderson as the starter with Oregon rookie Royce Freeman listed ahead of De’Angelo Henderson Sr.

In the secondary, Darian Stewart is starting over recent free agent free safety Su’a Cravens and Justin Simmons starting over Will Parks. Chris Harris Jr. and Bradley Roby start at corner, which is no surprise.
