Training Camp is a time and place to wipe the slate clean. No one on the Broncos needs a cleaner slate than Isaiah McKenzie.
The second year receiver had a less than stellar first year with the team.
“Oh I would give myself a solid F,” McKenzie said on Monday. “What was the word I used? Unacceptable. And I knew that. Coaches knew that. People outside knew that and my teammates knew that and as long as I know that I can get better because I can learn from that.”
Call the 2018 season, McKenzie 2.0.
A new number. (16 vs. 84)
And a new attitude permeate his outlook on life with the Broncos.
Object number one for him in 2018? Make better decisions this season, something that plagued him as a rookie.
“Everybody saw it last year,” McKenzie said. “Put the offense in good field position and do my job the best way I can and help the team win games.”
