GRAND FORKS — Second-ranked North Dakota scored four times in the first period and Peter Thome backed it up with 14 saves as the Fighting Hawks downed Colorado College, 8-1, Saturday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Colorado College returns home for a two-game series against St. Cloud State, Feb. 7-8, at the Broadmoor World Arena.
