CHSAA announces All-State football teams

Pine Creek's David Moore III & Palmer Ridge's Raef Ruel named Player of the Year

On Thursday, the Colorado High School Activities Association announced their 2019 All-State football teams with plenty of Southern Colorado Athletes honored.

Two Colorado Springs athletes were named player of the year. In 4A, Pine Creek's senior running back David Moore III was named the player of the year after finishing his high school football career in third place on the state’s all-time rushing list with 7,624 yards.

For the 3A ranks, Palmer Ridge's senior running back Raef Ruel was also named player of the year.

In addition, Pine Creek's Todd Miller & Pueblo South's Ryan Goddard were named coaches of the year for the 4A & 3A classifications.
