PUEBLO — Former Denver Broncos player Antwon Burton did his part to give back in Pueblo Thursday night.

At-risk kids in the area were treated to a fun night of activities including dodgeball, laser tag, and a workout with local trainers.

For Burton the night offered an opportunity to allow kids to put down the video games and spend some time making memories with their peers.

"We definitely live in a different world, millennials is a term, everyone is strapped to their phones, strapped to their video games," Burton said. "This allows parents and kids to get out. It's a free event, be able to interact with each other because having that element is definitely a positive element for sure and everything we're dong is trying to create that positive vibe and be progressive."

The event was a collaboration with the PBR Sports Performance Center.
