USAFA — Air Force men's basketball dropped an 85-80 contest to Drake in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at Clune Arena.
Senior Ryan Swan led the Falcons with 24 points.
Air Force (6-7) erased a 16 point deficit in the second half, only to have Drake (10-3) rally back.
The Falcons trailed the Bulldogs 42-26 with 2:16 in the first half and went to halftime trailing 44-34 after an 8-2 run.
Air Force is off from competition the next 10 days, returning to action hosting UC Riverside on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31 at 2 pm.
