The Air Force football team wrapped their spring practice with their annual spring scrimmage at Falcon Stadium.
With the majority of the Falcon's starters on the sidelines, it was an opportunity for younger players to shine and make an impression moving towards Fall camp.
The 90-minute showdown pitted the offense against the defense and featured highlight reel plays on both sides of the football.
Coming off an 11-2 season, the expectation will be high for the Mountain West contender and many of the team's top talents are excited for what's to come in 2020.
"It's a very talented team, I think if anyone went down, someone would be there to step up," senior quarterback D.J. Hammond III (26 total TDs in 2019) said. "There's talent across the board so next year is going to be really exciting."
"I think there has been a lot of good work here," senior defensive end Jordan Jackson (3.5 sacks in 2019) said. "It's good to get them out here and let them show what they have. I think when we get out here and put it all together we're going to have a good team."
