COLORADO SPRINGS — With senior Isaiah Sanders and junior Donald Hammond III both taking snaps under center for Air Force during the 2018 season, both could possibly split time as the Falcons starting quarterback in 2019.
"We think it will be a little bit foolish to thing one player will play at one position," said AFA head coach Troy Calhoun. "Time will unveil how those reps end up going to."
But for Sanders, he believes whoever can lead Air Force to wins on Saturdays will be the starter.
"i think it is an interesting dynamic, but at the end of the day, we are on the same team," said the Palmer Ridge alum. "Air force winning is the most important thing. So whoever gives us the best chance to do that, will be the best guy on the field."
The Falcons play their first scrimmage of training camp on Saturday, August 10th, at Falcon Stadium at 9 A.M.
