COLORADO SPRINGS — The Air Force men's hockey program announced its 2020-21 hockey schedule Wednesday afternoon.

With a shortened slate due to COVID-19, the Falcons will play 20 conference games and two exhibition contests against the National Team Development Program this season.

In total, the Academy will play each Atlantic Hockey opponent twice and Long Island University, a league scheduling partner, four times.

Back for his 24th season, head coach Frank Serratore leads a young but talented team back onto the ice beginning with a road showdown at AIC on Nov. 27-28.

"It's inspiring for me to be out there because they are so into what they are doing," Serratore said. They want to be a great team, they want to better themselves individually. The puzzle pieces are in place. We've got the teaching at the top, the motivation and we've got a bunch of willing players."

Air Force's home opener is scheduled for Dec. 4-5 against Robert Morris at Cadet Ice Arena. The AHA playoffs open on March 5-7, with the Final Four scheduled for March 19-20 at the HarborCenter in Buffalo, N.Y.
