USAFA — For the second year in a row, Air Academy senior Thad Dewing was named Colorado's boys soccer player of the year by Gatorade on Monday.
Dewing is just the third two-time boys soccer winner from Colorado.
The Air Force commit had 29 goals and 16 assists last fall as he helped Air Academy reach the Class 4A state championship game.
After the season, he was named the 4A player of the year.
This is the seventh time Air Academy has had an athlete honored by the Gatorade program.
