CLEVELAND – Fans of the Cleveland Browns might get something more than heartbreak and misery for watching two years of awful football.
The Browns have won one regular season game over the last two seasons, compiling a 1-31 record. As a result, Bud Light announced Tuesday that the company installed “victory fridges” filled with beer in bars around the city.
If the Browns can win one game this season, the fridges will unlock via a wireless signal, giving bar patrons free beer.
Cleveland last won a game in 2016, when they beat the Chargers late in the season to avoid going 0-16 in that season.
The Browns will have a chance to unlock the fridges on Sept. 9 when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off their season.
