SAN FRANCISCO — The Pac-12 Conference has released the weekly matchups and site designations for the league's 2019-20 men's basketball season.
The announcement reflects the games being played and the home/away designations each week of the Pac-12 regular season. Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced later this summer after selections by the league's television partners are finalized. All 108 conference games will be televised by either the ESPN family of networks, FOX/FS1, CBS or Pac-12 Network.
Colorado will open the Pac-12 schedule with three-straight and five of its first seven at the CU Events Center. On the flip side, the Buffaloes end with five of seven on the road, including their final three. Colorado begins the conference season at home for the first time in five years.
The bookends of the 2019-20 schedule are the opposite the Buffaloes' 2018-19 campaign that started with five of seven on the road and finished with five of seven – and the final three – at home.
Oregon and Oregon State visit Boulder to open conference play the first week of January, followed by a single match up with Utah at the CU Events Center the week of Jan. 8-12.
The Arizona and Washington schools are Colorado's one-time opponents this season. Arizona and Arizona State will not come to Boulder while the Buffaloes skip the trip to Washington and Washington State. The Huskies and Cougars visit Boulder to round out the Buffaloes' opening stretch of five of seven at home the week of Jan. 22-26.
Aside from the three consecutives at the beginning and end of the season, the Buffaloes will alternate home/away weeks for the middle 12 games of the schedule. After traveling to Los Angeles the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 2, Colorado hosts California and Stanford the week of Feb. 5-9.
The Buffaloes head to the Oregon schools the week of Feb. 12-16 before closing out the home schedule against USC and UCLA the week of Feb. 19-23.
Colorado travels to the Bay Area to begin its final three-game stretch on the road, the week of Feb. 26-Mar. 1. The Buffaloes end the Pac-12 season the week of Mar. 4-7 at Utah.
The Pac-12 Tournament will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the fourth consecutive year, taking place March 11-14, 2020. Check pac-12.com/tickets for the most up-to-date information on tournament on-sale dates and special offers.
The weekly matchups and site designations for the 2019-20 regular season have been determined based on the league's current annual 18-game rotation model. The Pac-12 announced this past May that it will transition to a 20-game league schedule beginning in 2020-21.
