LONDON — A sprinkler malfunction left two Wimbledon Mixed Doubles competitors soaked.
During a Mixed Doubles match on Court 15 the sprinkler behind the chair umpire went off unexpectedly, spraying Germany's Laura SIegemund and New Zealand's Artem Sitak.
It took Sitak a few seconds to move out of the way.
After maintenance apparently got it stopped the sprinkler went off a second time, knocking over a trash can and sending Siegemund scurrying again.
