WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rain fell throughout the day Thursday, but that didn't stop President Trump's "Salute to America" event at the Lincoln Memorial.
During his remarks Trump praised America's armed forces. The event also featured tanks, troops, and a series of flyovers including the Blue Angels.
There were also several protesters at the celebration.
Many people have accused the President of turning the holiday into a political rally.
