KABUL, Afghanistan — NATO issued a brief statement that said two U.S. service members were killed in Afghanistan Monday.
Authorities did not provide any details about how the two died or provide any information about where they were stationed or their hometowns.
U.S. Department of Defense policy requires that the names of service members are withheld until one day after family notifications are complete.
