MILWAUKEE — Traffic was delayed for hours Monday after a semi-truck crashed into a tow truck on a Wisconsin highway, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
Video footage from MCSO showed a red sedan waiting to get towed off I-94 when the semi-truck flew past and slammed into the tow truck.
It also showed the front of the semi-truck blowing apart completely as it flipped into all lanes of traffic.
Deputies said first responders pulled someone out of the tow truck who had serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi-truck and a passenger had cuts on their arms and legs. Everyone in the crash was taken to the hospital.
MCSO issued the semi-truck driver two citations.
