If you've been debating whether you wanted to try Popeyes new fried chicken sandwich, you're out of luck.
The franchise announced in a Twitter video Tuesday afternoon they are sold out of chicken sandwiches...for now.
Popeyes promised customers the sandwich would return soon and "for good."
The chain released the chicken sandwich nationally on Aug. 12 and spurred an internet debate on whether it was better than Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwiches.
