Police in Mobile, Alabama report at least 10 people were shot during an argument after a high school football game. Police Chief Lawrence Battiste told NBC affiliate WMPI all of the wounded are teenagers.
There's no word on the seriousness of their wounds as of midnight local time.
Police were able to detain two people for questioning.
The school district released the following statement, “It is sad that something like this happened at a high school football game, where our athletes were having a good game on the field," Phillips said. "We do not know all of the details as this is a Mobile Police investigation, so we will have to refer all further questions to the MPD.”
