PUEBLO – With election day around the corner a group in Pueblo is motivating people to go out and vote.

Canvassers from Circ Action Network were going door to door this week reminding people to cast their ballots before the 7 p.m. deadline on Tuesday for this midterm election.

Full disclosure, the group that backs candidates for the Democrat party says it is not endorsing any candidates in their canvassing efforts, instead they’re focusing on a message of encouraging civic duty.

“Every single vote counts every single vote counts everyone needs to take responsibility for being a citizen fo the United States and use their vote to make a change in America,” explained Canvass Manager Sally Sharp.

This year’s election in Pueblo is very important as voters have the chance to elect a mayor for the first time in 50 years. There’s a crowded field of 16 candidates on the ballot.
