Eight Colorado counties are moving backward this week on the state’s COVID-19 response dial and will have to implement more restrictions because of a surge in cases and hospitalizations.

If COVID-19 numbers continue to rise, would you support going to a higher level of restrictions? Voting has closed for this poll — here are the results:

  • 2,783 - 68% - voted no
  • 1,316 - 32% - voted yes

Watch for another poll this Thursday afternoon that we will follow and review starting at News5 at 4 p.m.

Several Colorado counties have warned residents over the past week that they could see further restrictions, like those imposed this week, if they did not reverse the course of their coronavirus case counts, positivity rates, or hospital bed capacities, which have all risen steadily in recent weeks across much of the state.
