YMCA Fall Festivals offer free Halloween activities for kids, family

COLORADO SPRINGS — The spooky season is well underway, and if you're looking for some fun, free, and safe activities for your family, the YMCA has got you covered!

The YMCA is hosting a series of fall festivals, where you'll be able to find trunk-or-treat opportunities and fun games.

Each location will also put their own spin on it.
For instance, the YMCA at First & Main will also have a chili cook-off, magic maze and more.
The Tri-Lakes YMCA will have a haunted house, and the Garden Ranch YMCA is offering zombie dart wars and a sensory-friendly play area.

And beyond those activities. you can also learn some killer dance moves.

Dance instructors will be teaching folks how to dance Michael Jackson's famous "Thriller" dance, step-by-step!

Tiffany Hale is one of those instructors, who will be teaching at tonight's festival at the Tri-Lakes YMCA.

She said the key is to just have fun with it.

So, if you want to lift your SPIRITS and have a fa-BOO-lous time with the whole family, be sure to check out one of the following festivals (dates and times included):

  • Tri-Lakes YMCA tonight, October 25 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • The Garden Ranch YMCA on Saturday, October 26 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • YMCA at First & Main on Saturday, October 26 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Downtown YMCA on Halloween night, October 31 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

There will also be different festivals happening throughout the weekend and Halloween night.
