CRIPPLE CREEK — Donkeys roaming through the streets are not an unusual sight in Cripple Creek, and this weekend's Aspen Tours will help care for them this winter.

The Two Mile High Club will give the tours free of charge, but donations are appreciated.

The historical tours include a drive through Cripple Creek and Victor, along with an overview of gold mining, past and present.

All proceeds go to the Two Mile High Club, which is the oldest nonprofit in Colorado, to help feed the donkey herd during the coming months.
