COLORADO SPRINGS — COVID-19 cases within the U.S. Air Force Academy's hockey program has forced the next two series to be postponed.
In a statement to News5, officials with the USAFA said activities will be paused for the next two weeks.
"The team’s next two series, January 15-16 vs. Army and Jan. 22-23 vs. Long Island University, are postponed. Air Force will work with Atlantic Hockey and each opponent on rescheduling possibilities," the statement said.
The team returned this week following a loss against Mercyhurst in Erie, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.
