COLORADO SPRINGS — Two men are facing charges in relation to a bank robbery that happened on August 3rd. 34-year old Anthony Hunt allegedly walked into the Chase Bank located 2550 Montebello Drive West wearing a long haired blonde wig and handed a teller a note demanding cash.
The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running northbound. A witness told police they saw the man enter a small blue, hatchback style vehicle and drive away.
Detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect vehicle from surveillance video and that's when they discovered that there was a second suspect who was the driver of the vehicle. The car used in the robbery was located in Pueblo where the suspected driver lives. Police arrested 48-year old Jason Roth on Thursday at his home in the 1000 block of East 10th Street. Police also learned that Anthony Hunt was arrested in Oklahoma on August 9th and is currently in custody there.
