EL PASO COUNTY — We have new numbers from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office on traffic enforcement for the first half of the month of August.

According to the Sheriff's Office, every day an average of 15,000 cars travel on Highway 24.

The Sheriff's Office said that between Garrett Road and Constitution Ave., 85 percent of drivers were recorded speeding. The fastest recorded speed was 102 miles per hour.

These numbers are a good reminder to slow down, drive the speed limit, and make sure everyone gets home safe.
