PUEBLO — The city of Pueblo wants to partner with School District 60 to help hungry kids in need.

Through the Pueblo Food Project, the city of Pueblo has teamed up with District 60 in hopes to help students at risk of going hungry. If the Pueblo Food Project receives any grants, that money will go to District 60 to make more meals.

"It's important to have this partnership so that our young people are eating nutritious food as often as they can, and so that nobody is going without that is the critical part of it," said Pueblo Mayor Nick Gradisar.

Pueblo City Council will need to approve this partnership before it becomes official.
