COLORADO SPRINGS — Stay-at-home orders and e-learning completely changed how students learned this year.
It also changed how we celebrate academic milestone for students.
A couple of fifth grade teachers from Antelope Trails Elementary made sure their classes didn't miss out on celebrating moving on to middle school Monday.
Teachers Nichole Buzzard and Sue Trask visited each one of their students and delivered yard signs congratulating them on completing fifth grade and moving on to sixth.
"It means a lot to me that our teachers care enough to come and visit us even in this time that we're here and not in school," Taegan Anderson said.
