COLORADO SPRINGS — Pikes Peak United Way hosted an event Saturday at Mitchell High School to help people with their taxes.

In addition to tax help, those who attended were also able to score some free tacos from Taco Bell.

Organizers said the service really makes a difference.

"People are scared to do their taxes and I can totally understand that. We've got training here, all of our people are ISA certified but it is scary even when you have the training," volunteer, Randi Davis said.

If you missed the event Saturday, don't worry. You can still schedule an appointment to get help with your taxes. Just call 211.
