Suspect arrested after robbing multiple banks in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS — A 21-year-old man is in custody after police say he robbed banks and other businesses between August and November, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

CSPD said they received an arrest warrant for Eric Michael Hauswedell on Nov. 25, four days after his last robbery.

Police said there were eight robberies:

  • Aug. 6 - First Bank at West Garden of the Gods
  • Aug. 14 - Check into Cash at Austin Bluffs Parkway
  • Sept. 27 - ANB Bank at West Garden of the Gods
  • Oct. 14 - Check into Cash at Austin Bluffs Parkway
  • Oct. 31 - Check into Cash at South Academy Boulevard
  • Nov. 9 - TCF Bank at South Academy Boulevard
  • Nov. 19 - Dutch Brothers at North Circle Drive
  • Nov. 21 - First Bank at West Garden of the Gods

The department said this remains an on-going investigation.
