LA JUNTA — A woman shared surveillance video with News5 that appears to show thieves on bicycles stealing flowers from the Arkansas Valley Hospice building in La Junta last week.

Cassie Elder posted the videos on Facebook and said the first plants disappeared last Thursday evening sometime after 5 p.m. The videos show two people on bicycles riding by the building on Saturday morning at 9:20 a.m. and on Saturday night around 9:01 p.m.

Elder's post read, "The flowers were donated and planted by someone special to ARKANSAS VALLEY HOSPICE. I'm asking for your help to identify these people who clearly felt they deserved the flowers/plants."

She also wrote in her post, "Really, someone will steal from a hospice organization??"

If you recognize the people in this video, call La Junta police dispatch at (719) 384-2525.
