COLORADO SPRINGS — Kids at Children's Hospital got a special treat Thursday.
Many patients can't leave their rooms, or even go outside, but they got to watch superheroes clean windows.
They're part of the Rocky Mountain Squeegee Squad, and it's just something they do to bring a big of wonder to kids who are going through a tough time.
"It's a complete normalization for them, in their day," said Shawna Grissom from Chidren's Hospital. "They see superheroes on TV, they play with them, they play with them in their video games."
This is their first appearance in the Springs. They also perform their highwire act at Children's Hospital Denver.
