COLORADO SPRINGS — Some Colorado Springs students spent the first day of school in a unique way.
Students from Launch Charter High School spend the day working through challenges and puzzles at Hellscream Entertainment. Teachers tells us the escape room provide a teaching experience that required teamwork, critical thinking and an ability to work in the dark.
"There'll be some cohesiveness between friends and maybe realizing that it's okay to depend on each other and ask for help from one another," said Vince Stites, owner, Hellscream.
The school came up with the idea and the escape room donated the space and staff.
