COLORADO SPRINGS — Around 100 kids at Centennial Elementary School in Colorado Springs got free school supplies today.
It was the first day of school for these kindergartners.
Members of McDivitt Law Firm made sure these kids have things to get them started this school year.
For eight years now, McDivitt Law Firm has been working with the school to provide things they may not be able to get.
"It takes the weight off the families. They don't need to provide some of these supplies, and it also keeps the school from having to fill in the gaps so they can use the money for enrichment programs and other endeavors," Lisa Bush, Marketing Director, said.
The donated items were chosen by teachers and forwarded the list to the law firm who orders the supplies.
