MANITOU SPRINGS — As the Stay-at-Home order turns into Safer-at-Home, Green Mountain Falls resident Misty Berry teamed up with other Ute Pass area residents to take pictures and document families who are being quarantined due to COVID-19.
This project is called Still Ute Pass and is an extension from the Manitou Art Project.
Photographer Misty Berry felt that residents living West of Ute Pass needed to be preserved during this unprecedented time in history with photographs.
She says the photographs sends a message that life goes on, and communities become stronger when faced with uncertain adversities.
Friday, May 1, is the last day for photographs. Berry says if the stay at home order returns she will begin planning for the return of the project.
