PUEBLO — The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment warning folks about sexually transmitted infections.
The latest state numbers show chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV cases all went up.
Even though those are state numbers, the Pueblo Health Department says it's seeing increases in the county, especially with syphilis.
"We have to do more education, not only for the public but for providers as well, to make that something they are thinking about when individuals go in let's say for your annual physical or when it comes to women exams," Clinic Program Manager Zak Van Ooyen said.
