PUEBLO — The Colorado State Fair saw an increase in attendance in 2019.
The fair's general manager said attendance was up six percent, and that's just through Sunday. He also added that they have seen an increase in revenue at this year's fair.
"The diversity in entertainment options on a national level with different concerts and what not, that has been well received. People have noticed there are some new food stands here at the fairgrounds which are bigger and grander than some of the ones in the past," General Manager Scott Stoller said.
Stoller said there is already a theme set for next year's fair, "A Walk on the Wild side." He added that there could possibly be a gator show and mammal exhibit at next year's fair as well.
