COLORADO SPRINGS — Police were involved in a standoff Monday evening on the southeast side of Colorado Springs.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on Mallard Dr.
The victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries, police said.
Neighboring apartments were evacuated during the standoff.
Three people were taken into custody and the situation was resolved shortly after 7 p.m.
Police said at one point a battering ram was used to open the door to the apartment.
No further information was available.
